To define Lori’s role in Kevin Manthei
Music takes more than a simple definition. Lori is KMM’s
agent, business manager, marketing and PR, and a whole host
of other responsibilities. Lori represents the company to
the film, TV and game worlds. She handles contract negotiations
and all the business affairs for the company. Everything
on the business side has gone through Lori’s hands.

goes, behind a
good man there is an even better woman. Lori also hails from Minnesota.
In fact, Kevin and Lori met early on (Ok, in junior high)
and by the time college was ending, the two were engaged,
married and moving to Los Angeles. After a few years working
for individuals and corporations helping them make money,
Lori decided to refocus her time and efforts on Kevin’s
growing business. In order to keep up with the pace Lori
stepped in to take over the business side so that Kevin could
completely focus on the creative side. One of Lori’s
first really big ideas was to join forces and start working
her magic for Kevin Manthei Music with her graphic design
experience and great phone presence, building a solid client
base.
Even though Lori has virtually no music background, she
definitely gives her two cents. Kevin enjoys her critiquing,
non-biased ear at times to help define his music for public
ears. She has been behind many a good business concept and
has had Kevin scratching his head on more than one occasion
with her ideas!
Lori really helped put Kevin’s company on the map with
her marketing and representation securing some of Kevin’s
biggest credits and clients. If you’re visiting for the
first time, chances are you have just gotten off the phone
with Lori. What better way to grow a business than to have
the one who believes in you most share with others how incredible
